DAY 1

ARRIVAL + HIGHLANDS TOUR

Upon your arrival in the Galapagos Islands, one of our representatives will cordially receive you at the San Cristobal airport. From there we will travel by private transport to our hotel located in the city of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.

Upon arrival in the Galapagos Islands, one of our representatives will cordially receive you. From there we will go to the Itabaca channel to take our private transport and arrive at our destination called “El Chato”, located in the highland part of Santa Cruz Island. Once at the site we will have the opportunity to observe the emblematic species of the Galapagos Islands, the Giant Land Tortoises. These are found in free areas, such as lagoons and trails.

We will also visit the lava tunnels. These are hollow rocks type caverns or caves, which allow us to take a walk inside them and take pictures of this beautiful and unique volcanic formation. In addition, we will learn a little more about the geological and natural formation of the Galapagos Islands.

After this spectacular excursion at the highlands, we will go to our hotel located in the city of Puerto Ayora.

DAY 2

 SANTA FE ISLAND TOUR (Snorkeling)

We will begin our adventure to Santa Fe Island with a navigation of approximately 45 minutes.

Santa Fe is very special and recognized because it has the clearest water in Galapagos (turquoise waters) and preserves within its bay the best marine life of the islands. Here we will enjoy two beautiful times of snorkeling or swimming with baby manta rays, baby sea lions, sea turtles and a reef full of colourful fish endemic to the area.

In our next activity, we will carry out an experiential (interactive) fishing between 20 to 45 minutes. Depending on the catch, we could prepare Sashimi or Ceviche as an appetizer for the group.

Then we go to a landing at Hidden Beach, with free time to do any of the following activities: photography, swimming, snorkeling or just resting on the sand. We will also be able to observe the bay shark and the nesting time of marine iguanas (special activity in Galapagos).

DAY 3

BAY TOUR

We begin our activity by taking a watercraft to sail towards La Lobería (Caamaño Islet), where we will be able to observe several sea lions resting on the rocks or swimming around. We can also see some birds such as blue-footed boobies and pelicans.

Then we will take a 10 to 15 minute walk to Las Grietas, where we will observe 2 huge walls of volcanic formation divided by a beautiful water channel ideal for enjoying our time snorkeling or swimming.

We will also visit the shark channel to observe reef sharks in their natural habitat. Finally, we will enjoy some more snorkeling time and on a good day, we could see iguanas and sea turtles. Then we will return to Puerto Ayora.

After the activity we will have free time to take a walk around the city, photography and shopping.

DAY 4

TWINS CRATERS & AIRPORT

On our last day, we will visit The Twins (Los Gemelos in spanish), these are 2 gigantic inactive craters located under the earth’s surface in the form of cones (sunken) and formed by a series of volcanic eruptions. Here we can take photos and enjoy this site surrounded by a beautiful Scalesia forest (endemic plant of the place). We will also observe birds such as the Galapagos Finches and the Vermilion Flycatcher give life and colour to this beautiful landscape.

Therefore, we continue with our trip to Baltra Airport where we will say goodbye to the enchanted islands, preserving our best memories.
