DAY 1

ARRIVAL + TIJERETAS HILL TOUR

Upon your arrival in the Galapagos Islands, one of our representatives will cordially receive you at the San Cristobal airport. From there we will travel by private transport to our hotel located in the city of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.

TIJERETAS HILL (hiking + snorkeling)
After settling at our accommodation and having lunch, we will visit this beautiful place that has a cliff which is covered with vegetation typical of the area, which makes this place a coastal landscape where we can even observe red-breasted frigate birds and pelicans.

After the walk and photography, we will be able to spend some time snorkeling or swimming in a very peaceful bay, where we will be able to observe baby manta rays and sea turtles in its clear and shallow waters.
After this activity, we´ll return to our hotel.

DAY 2

 KICKER´S ROCK TOUR (San Cristobal)

Kicker Rock is an islet located in the middle of the ocean formed by two giant rocks divided by a water cannel. From the south, it looks like a sleeping lion, hence the Spanish name, and from the other side the shape resembles a boot, hence the name “Kicker Rock”. Here is the Hammerhead Shark, a well-known species and icon of the islet.

When we arrive at this place, we will prepare ourselves to live one of the most incredible experiences in our two snorkeling times accompanied by Hammerhead Sharks, Black Tip Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Eagle Rays, Golden Rays, Sea Turtles, Sea Lions and Fish of colours, which complement this beautiful underwater landscape.

Finally, we will visit a beautiful beach to enjoy a beautiful coastal landscape with free time to do the activity that we like the most, be it photography, swimming, snorkeling, walking or just resting on the sand.

DAY 3

SANTA CRUZ ISLAND TOUR (whole day trip)

CHARLES DARWIN STATION + BREEDING CENTER
We start this day taking a ferry (07:00 am) to Santa Cruz Island with approximately 2 hours of navigation.

Upon arrival, we will begin our visit at the Charles Darwin Research Station, an entity whose mission is to help conserve the environment and biodiversity of the Galapagos Archipelago. Here we are going to visit the Tortoises Breeding Center to observe the different types of turtle species from different islands that are found there and reproduce in captivity under care and protection of the Galapagos National Park.

We´ll also learn about the story of LONESOME GEORGE (the only survivor of Pinta Island) who probably lived more than 100 years.
Without a doubt, Lonesome George became an emblematic species for Galapagos and the world. He died in June 2012 of natural causes, for such reason, it got embalmed and is now exhibited as part of the new interpretive trail of the Galapagos National Park called “Tortoise´s road”.

LAS GRIETAS

For our visit to this fantastic place, we will take a boat to sail to the other side of the Bay where we can see blue-footed boobies, pelicans and sea lions. Upon arrival, we will take a 10 to 15 minute walk to Las Grietas where we will see 2 huge walls of volcanic formations divided by a beautiful water channel ideal for photography, swimming or snorkeling.
To finish, we will have a relaxing time from a beautiful bay called “GERMAN´S BEACH”, very nice to rest and appreciate the landscape and observe species such as marine iguanas and Galapagos turtles.
At 14:00 pm, we´ll have lunch so at 14:30 pm we can get our ferries at the pier to San Cristobal Island. 2 hours of navigation approximately.

DAY 4

TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

After breakfast, we will have the transfer to San Cristobal airport to take our return flight to continental Ecuador and thus we will say goodbye to this beautiful experience that we had in the enchanted Islands, Galapagos.
